Catching up from inception to current status
I've been working on this game for about a month now, and just decided that it would be good to finish setting up this page and do a dev-blog post about things.
Winding back to the end of last month, I finally took some time off work (I'm a Solution Architect in my day job). During this time off I decided to play around more with GoDot.
Short Timeline
Dec, 29th '23 - I put together a very simple prototype of the game and took a video to share with some friends.
Early Jan '24 - Developed the early game systems (menus, weapons, experience, fx).
Mid Jan '24 - Added improvements to UI and Art to give a more consistent style.
Jan, 26th '24 - Spent the last few days working on a procedurally generated level system and decided to start posting.
30 Min Apocalypse
After a catastrophic event destroys the world, those remaining must confront untold horrors as they fight to survive.
